CHADWICK STULL SMITH

Picture
A graduate of Pennsylvania State University in Economics and Finance, Chad began his career in business management for Prudential Financial. He innovated their business processes, outsourced and managed them internally and abroad, and developed operational technology to optimize their business platform.  He desired a more entrepreneurial career and transitioned into business development with a 95-year-old, family owned company distributing industrial products throughout the northeast region.

The 2008 recession offered a unique buying opportunity in urban real estate, seizing the opportunity he started developing buildings outfitted with smart technology in Philadelphia. A few of the projects Chad has recently completed include 938 New Market Street, Philadelphia’s first Energy Star Certified mid rise apartment building; 929 Hancock Street, a 4,500 square foot LEED Platinum connected smart home with Green Roof; 1725 N 5th St a .25 acre Community Engagement Park and Outdoor Venue; and Phase 1 of 1700 Germantown Avenue, a 143,800 square foot mixed use, next generation smart building.

In addition to his management and development experience, Chad is also an active member in a variety of professional membership and charitable organizations including but not limited to: The Building Industry Association (BIA) of Philadelphia, Urban Land Institute, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Merion Golf Club, Habitat for Humanity, Hopeworks N’ Camden, and numerous Philadelphia-based Registered Community Organization's including Olde Kensington Neighbors Association, South Kensington Community Partners, Northern Liberties Neighbors Association, Olde City District and Asociación Puertorriqueños en Marcha (APM).
